Inspired by the beach findings.

On our walk today on the beach, here in Scotland, I got inspired by the colours of the shells. The blues, yellows and browns. Picked up a few things, and brought it back home.

 

 

 

Gessoed some paper, to start a new journal, with the beach finding colours in mind....

Old cerial box cut and painted for covers.

 

                              Gesso as a base. White and ochre acrylic put on with credit card.

And some blue and black ink.

I like the look of this. Reminds me of an old wall...
