Journal page. " House on the Hill "

Taking photos, recording a Journal page coming together, is not the easiest thing in the world to do. Usually, journaling is a very personal process, where the brain is kind of...shut down! And you go with the flow - so having to organize before hand, the page and its outcome, was a challange.



                                               
                                          I fell in love with a postcard! Yes, it can happen.

 

Gesso

 

 

                                              Blue and yellow acrylic, put on with a card.

 

 

                                                  

                                 Scraped in semi-wet paint with wooden stick, to add texture.

Painted pieces of scrap paper

...and glued them on to the page.

Painted gesso on, to soften the green.

Inked and stamped

Cut the post card in three, and glued on

 

                                                     More gesso blended in.....

And some Neo colours and water, to tie it all together.

A nice simple leaf design stamp and black ink.

Finished off with a glossy soft Gel.
