A very special gift.

I have been looking for a pen and nips for a while now. Then today, I was given these by my mother, who had found them in amongst some bric o brac, in a little shop in the village where she lives. I´m very excitet and can´t wait to try them out. What a lovely sunday it turned out to be.

Green, The Colour of Hope.

Lets hope that spring is just around the corner.

Happiness is.......

Teressa over at Green Isles Craft did a prompt yesterday: Happiness is... Here is mine, and its COFFEE. Not suprising to you who knows me!

February ATC´s. Owls and Spring is in the air.

Spring is in the air, and the promise of new plants, birds and bugs! The Dragonfly is actually on a piece of plastic, not visuable on here.
Owls. Wanted to do something simple and grafic. Hand drawn, acrylic and inks. I got the look I was after, thats always a joy!

Spring - Come on!

Still burried in snow, temperatures minus freezing, - this page today lookes a bit dark! Spring come on, or I shall travel to find it!

Girlfriends.

Yes, it has been a marathon today. Apart from "Mary´s new hair" and the collage for Nina, I did two ATC´s for Laurens 2 for 1 swap named "Girlfriends".

Art Swap.

"My Soul Sings". 8x10 collage.
Today has been a creative marathon! Mary`s new hair was born, after that I did this 8x10 collage, for an Art Swap, hosted by Nina over at Milliandes art community. The photo does not do it justice, but I am pleased!

Mary´s New Hair.

Photo shop transformed Mary´s eyes, face and hair, so I could not resist making a page.
This one is for you Mary.

The Fed Up Beetle Chrusher Girl!

Today the shopping-angle came by. Is it a hidden need to go spend some cool cash? Or thoughts on what to get? If anything?
Maybe I just need some new beetle-chrusher boots?

The Gift I. (1/3)

This lovely tissuepaper was given to me, and became the inspiration for a series of three journal pages.
The Gift I, has been featured on Teressa Thompson´s blog, greenislesart, as guest artist of the month.
The lovely greens and the dancing girl, made me think of spring, and the longing for a new season.
 -flowers, colours and
- bicyckling.....!

This is the third and last of the series "The Gift".

Thank you Lotte.

Came home today after work, and found this parcel in my mail box. Old music sheets, vintage magazines, green tissuepaper, a card and feathers from a canadian goose. Wauw. All wrapped up in lovely old fashion brown paper. I love it. And the sweet, kind sender, is Lotte, who attended my Journaling weekend retreat, a few weeks ago. How thoughtfull. I shall use it all with love, thank you Lotte.
