My new stamps are the motivators, for the next lot of journal pages. I will stick to the feather for a while... Looking at the colours I think: wow, Im back to my colour scheme 10 years ago, in my watercolour haydays! Hmmm, come back full circle, interesting.
Today my new stamps arrived in the post. And I love them! The salmon, yes I know, a fish! But do take into account, that my next challange in life, is to learn how to fly-fish! And the feather. An old favorite, but the best stamp ever! Cant wait for the weekend to come around, so that I can stamp........
Played around with my inks, and it all got a bit dark, when I came across the image of the wounded boy. This is from Manic Street Preachers album cover "Journal For Plague Lovers". I need to listen to it now, as I love the title! And Manic Street.
I am so tired of winter and snow, so when Anna and Mairi talked about plus degrees, no snow, spring in the highland, I thought......I miss the Hills, and "The Bonnie Bonnie Banks of Loch Lomand" is churning away!!! "
